About the Company
Loom was founded in the spring of 2003 by Johanna Leestma LaFleur. Johanna has been playing with
fabric, print, and color since her early childhood in Chicagošs Lincoln Park neighborhood. Her
experiences living in Senegal, Sweden, Thailand and Hong Kong fed her interest in textile and pattern.
As a result, her designs for Loom reflect a quirky mix of no-nonsense Northern European simplicity,
spunky California ruggedness, and a rich spice-route inspired palette.

Loom bags and home products are specifically designed to meet the needs of today's busy life - in style.
We engineer our bags with useful components and compartments, construct them from rugged fabrics
and original prints, and infuse them with timeless style. Loom products are
as fabulous as they are functional. Loom is based in Mill Valley, California.
